Training and Qualifications
Mr George graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009, before pursuing higher surgical training in London. He was selected for the Specialist Registrar Orthopaedic training programme at Imperial College London, training at some of the capital's leading hospitals, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and University College Hospital London.
Following his specialty training, Mr George dedicated a further two years to Fellowship training, refining his subspecialist expertise in hip and knee surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London.
In his NHS role at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, Mr George provides comprehensive care for acute musculoskeletal trauma and sports injuries, as well as chronic hip and knee conditions — from cartilage, ligament and meniscal injuries through to early and advanced osteoarthritis. This includes partial and total knee replacements, robotic-assisted knee replacements, total hip replacements, and revision joint replacements.

British Hip Society Travelling Fellowship 2022
A Visiting Fellowship at the Helios ENDO-Klinik in Hamburg, Germany — internationally recognised as a leader in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement, particularly the management of infected joints. Further information about the hospital can be found here.
EFORT Robotic Travelling Fellowship 2020
Mr George was one of the first recipients of the EFORT (European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology) Travelling Fellowship, training in robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement under distinguished surgeons across Europe. Rosetrees Trust and Stoneygate Trust

Publications
Mr George is widely published in peer-reviewed medical journals and remains actively involved in research through his NHS practice, collaborating with academic colleagues in the field. He is also lead author of several book chapters in orthopaedic textbooks.
