Mr George visited me on the day of the operation, he provided me with all the information I needed to know and answered all of my questions in a positive and honest manner. I found Mr George very easy to talk to and his demeanour was such that he left me in a positive frame of mind. 

 

On the day of the operation things went very smoothly, I arrived at the hospital at 7am and by 11.45am I was back on the ward with the hip replacement having been successfully completed. 

 

I was offered and accepted a lumber anaesthetic, I was awoken and became immediately aware of my surroundings just as the operation was being completed. I felt no pain whatsoever during or immediately after the operation, although my lower legs and feet were very numb. 

 

In the early afternoon Mr George visited me on the ward, he informed me that the operation went very well and as long as I was in agreement, I could be released from the Hospital that day. I was assessed by the physiotherapy staff and eventually released early that evening. 

 

Mr George has an excellent bedside manner, every interaction I had with him left me feeling very confident in his abilities and skill. After nearly six weeks I feel that the hip operation that Mr George performed has changed my life for the better and I cannot thank him enough. 

 

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Mr George, he is an excellent surgeon.
